What We Do
Crossroads’ Early Head Start Program serves infants (including pregnant moms) and toddlers from birth to age three (3). Our Head Start preschool program serves children who are three (3) or will be four (4) by the date of September 1. Children whose families meet federally-imposed income guidelines, are in foster care, or are homeless are eligible for services.
When children graduate from our early childhood education programs and enter pre-K or kindergarten, we help with the transition so that it is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
We realize that headstart program families have other needs such as job training and placement, family counseling, emotional support, referral to specialty providers, etc. Crossroads will assist as much as possible in meeting those needs through the efforts of our Family Advocates, nurses, licensed mental health providers, and other specialty staff associated with the program as well.
In fact, here is just some of what we offer:
Crossroads YFS sponsors Head Start and Early Head Start in different locations in Cleveland, Comanche, Pottawatomie, and Seminole Counties, especially Norman, Lawton and Shawnee Oklahoma.
You can also call us or come by, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. We would love to see you!
